Dues Structure

Dues amounts are categorized by volume. Your category level is computed upon your firm’s gross annual sales and is based on the honor system. The dues structure below indicates the amounts for both the local membership (NUCA of Washington) and national membership (NUCA) which are both required as part of your membership. For a breakdown of the NUCA dues, please contact Andrea at NUCA of Washington.

25% of the NUCA of Washington dues is for state and federal lobbying purposes and therefore may not be tax deductible. If you have any questions, please contact Andrea at the NUCA of Washington office.

Work is defined as the “construction and/or rehabilitation of utility systems including but not limited to storm sewers, sanitary sewers and drainage, water lines, cables, ducts, conduits, gas lines, tunneling, boring and trenchless construction, treatment systems, pump stations and all other utility construction and appurtenances thereof”. Contractors (non-manufacturers) performing only non-utility work such as paving, who have zero utility volume will automatically fall into the lower contractor category.
