Flagger Training Certification

Certified flaggers are responsible for worker and public safety during road construction, utility work and maintenance operations. Because of this, the flagger must, through visual movements and appearance, establish authority and confidence so traffic will respond in time and consistently with the need to stop, change lanes, proceed more slowly, or maneuver as necessary around the work site. A valid flagger certification card is required when any flagging or directing of public vehicular traffic in the public right of way occurs.

This training is documented and certified and each trainee will receive a certificate of completion card valid for 3 years in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Onsite training tailored to your organization can be provided upon request.
