Confined Space Entry Certification 

 
Federal and State OSHA have set forth strict confined space entry standards for the construction industry.  This standard require companies to implement a confined space entry program when their employees enter confined spaces. A major requirement of a confined space program is providing confined space training for all employees involved in confined space entry work. 
 
Topics addressed during this confined space training include:
 

1.   Identifying permit-required confined spaces and their hazards

2.   Identifying and measuring atmospheric hazards

3.   Proper utilization of gas monitoring equipment

4.   Methods to safely ventilate your confined space

5.   Personal protective equipment requirements

6.   Duties of supervisors, entrants, and attendants

7.   Requirements for rescue services and personnel

8.   How to take advantage of OSHA’s alternate entry procedures

9.  Steps necessary to temporarily reclassify a permit-required confined space to a non-permit space

10.   Ensuring your written Confined Space Entry program and procedures meet OSHA regulations 
 

This training is documented and certified and each trainee will receive a certificate of completion card valid for 2 years. Onsite training tailored to your organization can be provided upon request.
